Ballycastle Forest Walk

Ballycaslte is a stunning and vibrant town and is the gateway to the Causeway Coast and Glens.

Our small town is surrounded by glens, forests, and ancient rocks. With plenty to do, from tennis, through watersports, to a bustling nightlife in a traditionally Irish community. Host of great events and markets, it's the perfect place to take it easy.

Our studio is located beside one of the none Glens - Glenshesk and beside one of the most fabulous forests - Ballycastle forest.

It's a steep climb, but affords increasingly panoramic views of the coast to the north and Rathlin island, and on a clear day the Scottish Islands of Islay and Jura are visible.

It's totally free and there's a car park.

If you're starting your walk from our studio there's an entrance 1 mile along Drumavoley road or .5 mile along Dunamallaght road.

Check for the brown tourist information signposts.

Hope you enjoy!
